User Responsibilities and Liability

Account Verification and Compliance

Account opening on joki requires identity verification (KYC). We collect your national ID number, full legal name, date of birth, and residential address. Verification typically takes one business day. You must complete verification before withdrawing funds. Falsifying identity documents or providing false information violates our terms and may result in account closure and referral to law enforcement.

We comply with anti-money-laundering (AML) regulations. If your account activity matches AML red flags—rapid deposits and withdrawals, unusually high volumes, or transaction patterns that suggest money laundering—we may freeze your account and file a suspicious-activity report with the appropriate authorities. This is a legal obligation, not a discretionary action on our part.

No Guarantee of Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to joki. The platform may experience downtime for maintenance, upgrades, or emergency repairs. During major sporting events (Liga 1 finals, Piala AFF, Champions League, Piala Indonesia) or holiday periods (Idul Fitri, Idul Adha, Imlek, Nyepi), server load may increase and cause temporary slowdowns. We will notify you of planned maintenance via email or in-app notification when possible, but we do not compensate users for service interruptions.

Third-Party Processors and Liability Limits

joki uses third-party payment processors (DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet) to handle deposits and withdrawals. We are not liable for failures, delays, or errors on the part of these processors. If a payment fails, contact the processor directly. Refund responsibility lies with the processor, not joki.

We also use third-party vendors for fraud detection, SMS delivery, and customer support. We vet these vendors but are not responsible for their data breaches or service failures. If you believe your data was compromised due to a vendor failure, contact us immediately.

Using joki means accepting legal responsibility for your own jurisdiction compliance. We provide the platform; you determine whether it is legal for you to use it.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold joki harmless from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your use of the platform. This includes claims that your use of joki violated your local law, that you provided false information, or that you engaged in fraud or collusion. If you are sued for activities on joki and you drag joki into the lawsuit, you bear the cost of our legal defense.

Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising from your use of joki shall be resolved through binding arbitration, not court litigation. Arbitration is faster and more private than court but removes your right to a jury trial. The arbitration shall take place in a neutral jurisdiction agreed upon by both parties. The language of arbitration is English. Each party bears its own legal costs unless arbitration rules specify otherwise.
